West Bengal Fire Operator Qualification
- A candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Must have passed the Madhyamik examination ( 10th Class) or its equivalent from any government recognized board or institution.
Fire Operator Physical Eligibility
All Categories Candidates ( Except Gorkha, Garwalies, Rajbangshi, Other Hill Tribes ) :
- Height: 167.6 cm
- Chest : 81.3 cms with 5cms expansion
Gorkha, Garwalies, Rajbangshi, Other Hill Tribes Category:
- Height : 160 cms
- Chest : 81.3 cms with 5cms expansion
Fire Operator Physical Endurance Test
Must have to qualify any four of the following endurance test:
- 1000 meter run within 5 minutes.
- Ladder climbing within 20 seconds.
- Lifting and carrying of sand back weight 63.5 kg continuously for a minimum of 50 meters.
- Run Up three stories of standard staircase within 1 minute.
- Rope climbing using only hands within 60 seconds.
- High jump 1.22 meters or more.
Age Limit
- General Category: 18 to 27 Years
- OBC Category: 18 to 30 Years
- SC/ST Category: 18 to 32 Years
