- Assistant Engineer ( Civil ) : Bachelor degree in civil engineering from recognised institute or university.
- Sub assistant engineer ( Civil ) : diploma in civil engineering from recognised institute.
- Surveyor : High Secondary pass + certificate in survey / diploma in survey/ diploma in civil engineering
- Draughtsman : High Secondary pass with diploma in architecture / civil draughtsmanship from recognised University.
- Work Assistant: Madhyamik pass with knowledge of computer + typing speed @20 wpm
- Lower-division clerk: Madhyamik pass with certificate course on computer application.
