• Indian citizen.
• Graduate degree with postgraduate  B.Ed degree OR Graduate degree + 3 years experience in teaching in any primary or secondary school OR Graduate degree with three years experience of working in a Government-sponsored alternative system of education OR Graduate degree + 3 years experience in the management of education.

NOTE :- teaching experience as voluntary service to any school will not be considered as teaching experience.
