• Medical Technologist Grade III ( Optometry) 

WBHRB Medical Technologist Qualification

• Higher Secondary Pass or Equivalent with Physic, Chemistry & Biology
• A two years Diploma Course in Medical Technology in the concerned subject (Diploma in Optometry & Ophthalmic technique) recognized by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal under West Bengal Para Medical Council or conducted by any recognized Institution affiliated to any recognized University OR a Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology of subject concerned (Bachelor in Optometry) from any Institution/ University recognized by Government of West Bengal.

WBHRB Medical Technologist Age Limit ( As of  01/01/2023)

• General Candidates: 21 to 39 years
• OBC: 21 to 42 years
• SC/ST: 21 to 44 Years

WBHRB Medical Technologist Examination Fees

• General (Un-Reserve): 210/-
• SC/ST: No Fees
• Payment Method: Exam Fees are paid through Banks participating in the GRPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System).

WBHRB Medical Technologist Salary

• Pay Level: 9
• New Basic Pay: 28900/-
• HRA: 3468/- ( 12% Of Basic Pay)
• DA: 867/- ( 3% DA Announced from January 2021)
• Medical Allowance: 500/-
• New Monthly Starting Gross Salary ( Basic Pay + DA + HRA + Medical)  : 33,735/- ( Without Increment)
