Upper Primary

Graduate in Any Stream with 50% Marks ( For SC, ST, OBC & PH candidates 45%) +  B.Ed/ Elimentary Education in Diploma / B.L.Ed / B.Ed ( Special Education) 

IX - X Class

Graduate/ Honours Graduate/ Post Graduate degree with 50% Marks ( For SC, ST, OBC & PH Candidates 45%)  + B.Ed Course Pass. Or, 

Post Graduate Degree with 50% Marks ( Those who do not have 50% marks in pass or honors in graduation)  + B.Ed 

XI-XII Class 

Post Graduate Degree with 50% Marks ( For SC,ST, OBC & PH candidates 45%) + B.Ed Course 

WBSSC Assistant Teacher Age Limit 

  • For Un-Reserved Candidates  Age limit: 21 to 40 years.
  • For SC / ST Age Limit: 21 to 45 Year
  • For OBC Candidates Age limit: 21 to 43 Years
  • For PH Candidates: 21 to 48 Years

  2. Main Exam ( 200 Marks)
  3. Then Merit List ( No Interview, No Counseling)
